Unfortunately, stores are no longer accepting releases from you via DistroKid. You'll need to try another distributor for future releases. Please understand that DistroKid is unable to assist with reversing this and many DistroKid features have also been restricted as a result of this. We have no other information or context, and we are unable to get involved or take sides when this occurs. We're just the messenger, passing along this info to you in hopes you find it helpful.
As you can see by above email - DISTROKID have banned me using the generic catch phrase editorial discretion - yet no explanation of what violation is - my songs were published under my ARTIST name xymalf- so now i had to find a new distribution service and probably a new artist name. I noticed on 3rd August 25 some of my songs were stuck in processing - normally takes 7 days max to get on spotify - yet distrokid knew there was an issue yet kept on allowing me to upload songs and artwork - so wasting my valuable time. I suspect some of my songs , the more political were over target and exposing the agenda they dont want folk to know about. If you liked some of my songs produced by XYMALF then get in touch and i can make them $1 digital downloads. Distrokid at least didnt remove existing songs and these still earn royalties.
Distrokid have stopped sending my uploads to the Services - yet songs already published are still online under artist name xymalf
i have tried DITTO - the website is quite hard to use and it takes a few days to get songs approved and then about 10 to get it released - Distrokid was faster:

Tunecore has now said it wont publish my songs but dont have the guts to say why. IT LOOKS LIKE TUNECORE and musicdigi dont allow AI generated music, ditto, distrokid and amuse do. Suno may say you have legal rights to publish your songs but check if distro allows AI before signing up. EVEN IF THEY DO - you have to put your name as the Singer to fill in royalty forms. On the plus side after a few emails TUNECORE refunded me so did the correct thing - MUSICDIGI refuse to refund - they should state clearly that they dont publish AI songs. other issues i have had with distros is i like to do different versions of my songs eg v1 folk, v2 rock - distros have an issue with putting v2 on album artwork - DISTROKID had no issues with this and even had a FIELD where you could add extra information about new version of your song.
Having two artist names caused issues setting up profiles on Spotify for both. Ditto are good and good communication but initially you are on a free trial and can release some songs, but even once you subscribe to standard package, you can't release any more songs until TRIAL period is over - gets confusing as it makes it look like you have to upgrade even though you are a paid member. I am using AMUSE distro too they seem very fast in review process and good communication too.
Amuse have now frozen my account and removed every song - they site artificial streaming - what BS is this - top song only a 100 plays and i use no tools to send hits to streaming sites .. The truth is some of my songs expose Agenda -they dont want information getting out - the music industry is controlled, just like newspapers too

YEEBRA customer service is very good - they dont require USC codes for previous released songs as create new ones . Entering PRODUCER and COMPOSER details more difficult on their platform.

Symphonic is a good distro but hard to join they didnt recognise my email address - they need proof of ID and face photo to verify. Good customer service -seem to require lyrics for songs. They want to know if AI used on cover artwork etc

I am now trying ditto - new artist name Slymalf - They take over 10 days to review a track. Tunecore is having issues with how i label songs eg SONG TITLE : VERSION 2 : They dont like this but distrokid had no issue with this - my songs stuck in review on Tunecore despite many emails and fact you cant deselect Apple , I-Tunes etc - when they do release a song it seems to get onto bitchute too?

It is very odd as you never seem to get bug when song first generated - you would think Suno would flag the original song?
NB;- WITH SUNO - Unless you are subscribed then you can't earn money commercially from any AI song you write. If you do subscribe any song wrote before this date cant be commericalised but I would think if a song is popular you could modify it to get commercial rights to the later version. if you write your own lyrics you will always own copyright on this as it is your work - but what if AI genetrated the words? at the moment Ai laws are a mine field as some AI is stealing other artists work. The music Suno creates can never be copyrighted.
NB:- Suno - i have been locked out of my account : since 23rd july 2026, back on today 30/7/26 so 7 days - had to join TAD at cost of £76 per year to keep creating. . I dont recommend that you sign up to Suno using phone SSO - as often codes are not sent and even when they are the website says correct but is frozen. The phone bug +44 [0] 7 caused problems when 07 used . Suno created a new blank profile and i could not see my stuff. So i have had to join Eleven labs costing me $6 a month but you only get 4,000 credits per month - a song can use over 400 - so thats a maximum of 10 songs per month.. Eleven labs harder to use than suno - the songs it creates are not as good - but at least you can easily login with no issues. quit eleven labs but still cost me $6. Suno issues inspired new song LOGIN BLUES wrote on elevenlabs. Suno App started to work first but it dont have features of desktop Suno like Mashup, using voices etc. Desktop Suno dashboard now taking a few minutes to load correct. Suno has good community and you see which songs folks like. They can use your VOICES though if not made private and mix up your songs - it lets you download MP4 files with song lyrics. WAV files have to be upscaled for YEEBRA and Symphonic distro's.

Due to not being able to get into Suno i have tried other AI music generators - tried Eleven labs io but too hard to use and quality poorTrying TAD.AI now and easy to use, generates decent music, finding it hard to change song title, and a few times it has not generated music - dont know if it looks for key words or just a bug as first song i tried would not generate.
Suno - lets you rename tracks quite easily, cant seem to be able to do this in TAD which generates the song name
Suno - lets you download mp4 videos - they have song lyrics , tad lets you download a mp4 but no song lyrics just the music and blank screen?
Suno lets you create Voices [Personas] from your fave songs eg if you like sound - it save prompts / style used - remember to make VOICE private if you dont want others using it
Suno can also Mash up two songs, it can mashup the lyrics - but sometimes song cutout before end - you can then extend song but sometimes join is apperent , why suno cutsout songs and sometimes doesnt fade i dont know
TAD can augment your song lyrics - it gives you 3 ideas you can pick all 3 if you want - TAD uses two engines - one Mureka creates good rock songs
TAD also suggests styles for you to use in song - it takes a while to create song , you dont have to make it public it is when generated but you can delete bad ones

Hey Adrian, good to hear from you again! On the slow dashboard — this is the same Norton AV scanning behaviour from last time. As a reminder, adding suno.com as a trusted site in Norton (and disabling HTTPS/Safe Web scanning for Suno specifically) should bring that load time right down. If you tried that already and it's still slow, it may just be peak-hour server load on Suno's side, which can occasionally affect page rendering. On the generation limits — there is a credit system rather than a per-hour song cap. On your Pro Plan you have a generous credit allowance each billing cycle (plus any bonus credits), so you can generate plenty of songs in one session. If Suno feels sluggish when creating, that's usually a server load issue rather than a personal rate limit kicking in. On the mashup cutting out Singer B — unfortunately this is a known limitation of how AI generation works: Suno's model doesn't always preserve every vocal element when stitching parts together, especially during mashups. When you want to bring back a vocal line that got dropped, the best approach is to use the Extend feature on the clip and include a specific prompt instruction to continue with both singers, for example: "continue with both vocalist A and vocalist B for the outro." You can also try generating the outro section separately with a focused prompt, then using Extend to join it to the main track. It won't always be a seamless join, but being very explicit in the prompt about the vocal arrangement tends to help. On not being able to mashup on the app — the underlying login issue on the mobile app is still something the team is working to resolve, so Bing desktop remains your best bet for now for the full feature set including mashups.
Today i was trying a mashup on suno - it generated mashed up lyrics but trying to generate song it said INVALID TOKEN 3 times - i got fed up and copied lyrics into TAD and used my Suno promts and that created a good song after some effort - TAD kept on cutting song off , so i extended time to 6 mins. So that was 80 credits wasted getting it ok.
TAD wont let you download a mp4 video - suno does my mate likes to know what lyrics are.
